A decent cinema. It looks great in the lobby and has been renovated in recent years. Starbucks in the foyer and a bar upstairs which is discounted for Unlimited card holders. The auditorium I visited was clean and the screen and sound quality was great, however the seats were a little uncomfortable after a while. Well padded but somehow really uncomfortable after around an hour. Much prefer my local Cineworld in Leeds.
Good cinema, seats are comfortable and have plenty of leg room. On the whole it’s usually clean, but have been a couple of times when the floor has been sticky presumably when drinks have been spilled and not cleared up properly. Staff are always very friendly. Parking is close by and free for 3 hours.

We visit here quite a lot and love it. Great old cinema, comfy seats, great food and drink and brilliant service. Recently discovered that they do 2-4-1 for Birmingham City Council employees Mon-Fri (excluding sofa seats). Much nicer than going to one of the huge cinemas in the city.
Loved this venue, comfy seats and pre-movie ads did not last forever. I was pleasantly surprised by the prices of food, much cheaper than normal cinemas. They also have a good concession discount.

Had a really good experience here. The chap who sold us our tickets was friendly a we talked about films with him. It was clean and tidy but I think it's a fairly old building set fairly central in town. Wasn't paying attention at the time but not sure how suitable it is for wheelchair access. And not being a local don't know how far the nearest parking is away.
It's a rather small theatre so most of my friends prefer not to go there, due to the limited seating and the relatively small screens. But as someone who just wants to see a film and doesn't need anything else, this is just fine. For those looking for a cinematic experience though, this is not for you.
Cannon Hill Park, Queen's Ride, Birmingham B12 9QH, UK – 0121 446 3232
One of the best places in Birmingham for families, young people and creatives. A community indoor and outdoor venue with lots of activities based around art, fitness, sport and even wildlife. There is tennis, crazy golf and you can hire a row boat. Highly recommended.
Great general arts centre which has got better and better over the years. Very smart recent redesign which has made this a top notch must visit attraction. Plenty of chilled out cafe and bar areas, featuring an excellent cinema which features many genres some not screened elsewhere. A colourful blend of people and staff who work here always make it a pleasant experience. Plenty to do see and experience. They have recently started charging for parking, but needs must I suppose.
Mockingbird House, The Custard Factory, Gibb St, Birmingham B9 4AA, UK – 0121 224 7456
We had such an amazing experience at the Mockingbird Cinema. As always, we were there way earlier, but we had a nice surprise as we found that we have the chance to delight ourselves with an awesome ale before the movie. We couldn't mind the wait because the atmosphere was stunningly good. Also, it's almost unbelievable that a single ticket is only 5 quids. We are looking forward for the next movie night there!
It's a lovely little niche venue however be aware if you're tall to get an aisle seat. I'm only 5"3 and struggled. Audience can at times be inappropriate due to bar licence but staff keep a keen eye on it. They do regular deals which are slightly cheaper than competitors student prices which is awesome. They do however need to make it clear on the online booking when to input the CEA card.
