Great hotel and great location. Within walking distance to museums, cinemas, bars and loads of shopping. Not far from 2 train stations and bus stop amd taxi rank outside. So clean and staff are very friendly. Breakfast in the morning is great....loads to choose from. Highly recommended
Smooth check-in (self service) experience with friendly staff. Room was spacious and comfortable but the highlight for me was the breakfast. I travel occasionally with work and end up staying at a number of similar ‘chain style’ hotels - I can easily say that the breakfast I had here was the best tasting breakfast I have ever had at a hotel of this type. Well cooked, good range of choice and genuinely tasty - I would go back again just for the breakfast.

Ideally placed 4 star hotel Near to the bull ring Buses frequently run. Ten minutes from airport. Great hotel, ideal for weddings, conferences or just a break from from it all. Rooms have air conditioning. Disabled facilities good, need to book for a room for disabilities in advance. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all excellent, staff are all friendly and helpful a credit to the hotel
Had a lovely stay here - the breakfast was great, massive variety. The hotel is beautifully decorated, from the outside you’d never guess the decor was this beautiful inside. Room was nice and clean. Staff were all great and helpful. Close by to the train station, good easy access to central Birmingham/Bull ring. Also within easy access to a nice range of shops and eaterys just round the corner.

Fantastic centre city location, cool service, nice staff. Not a burden on ur pocket. Not far from train station. Other services r available at the door like cab, bus. Many pubs & restaurants around which r serving from morning till late evening. Novotel is always my option for staying out of town
Great stay July 24. Rooms large for a standard. Lovely reception and eating area. Breakfast was fantastic and service 10/10. Parking secure under hotel at £15 for 24hr, worth it. Best location to all the great eats and pubs and near the canal which was beautiful.

Perfect venue! Had my son's wedding to his wonderful wife here and it was perfect. Staff were attentive & food was excellent. We were lucky enough to have a hot sunny day & the outdoor areas were well laid out with smart comfortable furniture. Their hotel room was very smart and extremely spacious. We all had a truly wonderful day - greatly helped along by The High Field & the staff. Thank you to all the staff that made the day run smoothly & without a hitch. It's a very smart & well run chic boutique hotel that I cannot praise enough!
I do love this place. Upmarket and relaxed at the same time. Nice, friendly staff and always one of my top choices for a meet up with friends. Highly recommend!

Came in with my family this Sunday evening, wasn’t too busy and the first bar we saw looked deserted also garden was big but has clearly seen better days hence the lack of five stars. The food was fine and the young lady behind the bar was excellent and friendly with both our kids even went out of her way to make sure they got their ice cream even after the kitchen had closed. NHS discount doesn’t hurt matters much either!! All in all it was a typical pub visit without being blown away but would happily return and take people with me.
Food ok, Was expecting better quality. Had 2 x Chicken and Chorizo Grill's but Corn on the Cob was missing of both and chicken not very succulent. And Chicken fillet burger was a bit dry. Was hoping for better, nice garden area though.

Very impressed. First visit for a long time. Think it was a carvery last time I went. Visited at 12 midday on a Friday. Not to busy. Had lunch with my partner. Our food was excellent and well presented. Service was excellent. Overall very nice clean place, nice atmosphere. Will defenitely visit again.
Great setting inside and out. Good drinks selections. Friendly staff. Didn't want there this time but previous visits have been pleasant and I've enjoyed the food. Great venue for a sunny afternoon (rare as they are)

It was like staying in a time capsule! Modern street outside and a 1930 house inside. The house has everything you might need and in the centre of the City. I. Would recommend the back to back tour as well.
In addition to being Brum's Number One tourist attraction, it also houses (excuse pun) two of the quirkiest holiday lets in the UK. Facing out onto Inge Street are No. 52 & No. 54, some of the last remaining Back to Backs in England, but which have been cleverly converted to provide excellent accommodation set out over three floors. Both ideally situated to experience all that Birmingham has to offer. And No, you don't have to use the toilets in the yard!

I stayed at Westbourne Lodge for 4 nights in early March. I couldn't have found a better place. Yes, the room may not have been the most modern but Norma's welcoming and very friendly personality easily made up for that. I loved the free hot drinks (hot chocolate every night after I made it back through the snow!) and the fridge in my room. Very convenient! The place was very quiet with free off-road parking and only a few minutes by bus from the city centre. I will definitely be back the next time I'm coming to Birmingham.
Very nice ambience and extraordinarily nice staff.. very well run. It's got a nice garden at the rear as well..

I've stayed here before and wasn't impressed, but I needed to stay in the area again so gave it a second chance. Let me start by saying the room isn't the problem, so if you only want a place to sleep, it might work for you. If you want decent security, and a restaurant for dinner and /or breakfast, maybe go somewhere else. The restaurant at this location is poor. I avoided it for dinner (after my experience last time) but had breakfast, and the service was very very slow, even with few guests in the restaurant, and even a humble bowl of porridge was poorly prepared. I like premier Inn because of the consistency, but I wonder if the standards are slipping
Usual standard for a Premier Inn. Good rooms and decent breakfast. The staff were super helpful too. I needed to make some visits the next day and they made extra effort to ensure my parking was validated for another couple of hours. The bar also opened a bottle of red for us and offered us glasses too. Not exactly a glorious bit of Birmingham but close enough to the football grounds and Aston uni.

Great value. Receptionist was very polite and helpful. The room clean and comfortable. As we were at the side of the hotel, it was also quiet. Plenty of free parking. Nearby restaurants excellent - TGIs and Ask, also the Beefeater adjoined to the hotel.
A premier inn is a premier inn at the end of the day. This is much like any other premier in you've ever been to. My room was down a series of corridors which felt rather like a maze, but i managed to find it every time. The room was identical to a room i stayed in at a premier inn in a different part of the country which was rather strange, and i spent two days in what felt like a constant state of deja vu. In the front lobby/reception area, there was a Ben and Jerry's vending machine, which is something that I've never seen before. I was rather excited to try it out, and although it was expensive, i did enjoy both watching it happen and eating the ice cream. The parking was ample and the reception staff were lovely, going out of their way to resolve an issue caused by my own forgetfulness. The room was clean and tidy, as was the bathroom, and the rest of the hotel. Had a lovely stay.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
